Join the MSPDP and the Public Debate Program
In 2010-2011, the MSPDP will be using a new membership and fee structure. Please read the following carefully. If you have any questions about what fees your school should be paying, contact John Meany (john.meany[at]cmc.edu) or Kate Shuster (kate.shuster[at]cmc.edu). Decide which category your school falls into and pay dues accordingly.
1. Schools in sanctioned MSPDP leagues that are administered by Claremont McKenna College. If your school falls into this category (ie, you belong to the IVDL, PCDL, OCDL or GSDL), you should download the MSPDP invoice only. This invoice includes your school's membership in the Public Debate Program. Download your invoice here.
2. Schools in sanctioned MSPDP leagues that are not administered by Claremont McKenna College. If your school falls into this category (ie, you belong to the EBDL, DVDL, DCDL, BADL or CCDL), you should download the PDP Charter and Application as well as the PDP invoice. This will allow your school to join the Public Debate Program and become eligible for national competitive events described in the PDP Charter application. Download the Charter application here. Download the invoice here. This does not substitute for your regular dues paid to your home league.
3. Schools not in sanctioned MSPDP leagues. Many schools would like to join the MSPDP but do not yet have a local league for participation. Those schools can join the national network and receive the benefits of membership by filling out the PDP Charter and PDP invoice. Download the Charter application here. Download the invoice here.
